Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: January 2025
Article 1 — Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") govern all sales made through the FootSupporter website (footsupporter.com), operated by FootSupporter SAS.
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these T&Cs without reservation. These T&Cs apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, except where explicitly agreed in writing.
FootSupporter reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The applicable T&Cs are those in force at the date the order is placed.
Article 2 — Products
FootSupporter offers football jerseys, sportswear, retro kits, and related accessories. All products are carefully selected and described with the greatest possible accuracy on our website.
Photographs of products are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product due to screen display variations. Product descriptions, including sizes, colours, and materials, are provided as accurately as possible.
Products are available while stocks last. In the event of unavailability after an order has been placed, FootSupporter will inform the customer as soon as possible and offer a full refund or an alternative product.
Article 3 — Pricing
All prices displayed on the website are in Euros and include applicable VAT (Value Added Tax). Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are calculated at checkout based on the delivery method and destination.
FootSupporter reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced at the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
Special offers and promotions are valid for the duration indicated on the website. Promotional codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Article 4 — Orders
To place an order, the customer must:
1. Select the desired product(s) and add them to the shopping cart.
2. Review the cart contents and proceed to checkout.
3. Provide or confirm shipping and billing information.
4. Select a delivery method.
5. Choose a payment method and complete the transaction.
An order confirmation email will be sent upon successful payment. This email constitutes acknowledgement of receipt, not acceptance of the order. FootSupporter reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of payment issues, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is due at the time the order is placed. FootSupporter accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna (instalment payments, subject to eligibility)
All payment transactions are processed through a secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. FootSupporter does not store any credit card information.
In the event of non-payment or payment failure, the order will not be processed and the customer will be notified.
Article 6 — Delivery
FootSupporter delivers to France and selected international destinations. Available delivery options and rates are displayed during the checkout process.
Delivery times are estimates and begin from the date of shipment, not the date the order is placed. FootSupporter cannot be held liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
The customer is responsible for verifying the condition of the package upon delivery. Any damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt by contacting our support team.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws (French Consumer Code, articles L221-18 et seq., transposing Directive 2011/83/EU), the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery (or of the last item for a multi-item order), without providing a reason and without penalty. The customer notifies FootSupporter by email or through their account on the website, and then has a further 14 days to send the item(s) back.
The customer may handle and try on the item(s) as they would in a shop. They are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (article L221-23); where applicable, a proportionate deduction may be applied to the refund, but the withdrawal itself cannot be refused.
In accordance with article L221-24, FootSupporter refunds all sums paid, including the standard delivery cost, no later than 14 days from recovering the goods or from the customer providing proof of postage, whichever happens first. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. In practice FootSupporter refunds within 5 to 10 business days.
Return shipping costs are covered by FootSupporter (prepaid return label provided).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to jerseys with custom printing (name and/or number chosen by the customer), under article L221-28 3° covering goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Discounted and sale items remain fully covered by the right of withdrawal.
Gift cards are also excluded.
Article 8 — Warranty & Defects
All products sold by FootSupporter are covered by the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects, as provided by applicable law.
If a product is found to be defective or non-conforming, the customer may contact our support team to request a replacement or refund. Proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email) is required.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper use, washing, or storage
- Modifications made to the product after purchase
Article 9 — Liability
FootSupporter shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of its products or website.
FootSupporter's total liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific order.
FootSupporter is not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from its website. The website may experience temporary interruptions for maintenance or technical reasons, and FootSupporter shall not be liable for any resulting inconvenience.
Article 10 — Personal Data
FootSupporter collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available on the website.
Personal data collected during the ordering process is used solely for order processing, delivery, customer support, and, where consent is given, marketing communications.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy page.
Article 11 — Disputes & Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, State of New South Wales. Under European conflict-of-law rules, this designation does not deprive a consumer residing in the European Union of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence, in particular as regards the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably — write to us at [email protected]. Failing agreement, a consumer customer may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
